I am looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant for a reputable manufacturing company here in Milwaukee, WI (53208). This role will be permanent with benefits and is looking to interview/start immediately.

Pay: $70k – $83k (based on experience) & Benefits

Schedule: 1^st shift, M-F,  100% onsite 
Remote: No, 100% onsite 

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical accounting and financial analyses and provide accurate and timely financial reports
• Prepare requisitions, billings, and periodic reports to funding sources
• Maintain the general ledger by preparing journal entries for month-end close, performing variance analysis
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts as assigned
• Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statement audit
• Preparation of budgets for proposals
• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, processes and procedures
• Serve as backup to various functions in the Accounting Department
• Assists with special projects assigned by the Controller and the Chief Financial Officer.
• Requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting
