Pay Range: $30-35/hr, depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruiter to join our client's talent acquisition team on a contract basis (6+ months, with the opportunity for contract-to-hire). The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of full cycle recruiting principles for manufacturing/engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions, including drafting and posting job advertisements, proactively sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and facilitating interviews.
  • Utilize the internal SAP system in alignment with workforce planning guidelines to track recruitment activities and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Build and maintain a strong employer brand and social media recruiting presence through platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, college recruitment sites, the company website, and other relevant job boards.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide consultative guidance throughout the recruitment process, and communicate progress and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill positions using diverse sourcing strategies (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, professional associations, networking events).
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create, update, and refine job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives, career fairs, and campus recruitment activities to attract top talent.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as a full cycle corporate recruiter for manufacturing and engineering requisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • High level of adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
