Position: Accounting Manager
Location: Downtown Midland, TX
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 (DOE)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead key financial reporting, compliance, and internal control functions for a publicly traded organization. This role offers the opportunity to manage a multi-location team while playing a critical role in financial oversight and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee SEC reporting and ensure compliance with public company requirements

• Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Lead and develop a team of 6 direct reports across multiple locations (Midland, Plano, Houston)

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting

• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with public company accounting, including SEC reporting

• Background in audit, compliance, and internal controls

• Proven leadership experience managing distributed teams

• CPA preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $100K–$150K (depending on experience)

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
