Litigation Paralegal

Location: Midland, TX
Compensation: Up to $90,000 DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview

Connect Search is partnering with an established Midland law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong background in civil or commercial litigation who can independently manage case responsibilities and support attorneys through all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in civil and commercial litigation matters.

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.

• Assist with contract review, disputes, and related documentation.

• Coordinate discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

• Maintain case files, court calendars, and critical deadlines.

• Conduct legal research and organize supporting case materials.

• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

• Manage multiple active cases while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

• Paralegal certification, paralegal degree, OR 5+ years of paralegal experience.

• Demonstrated experience in civil or commercial litigation.

• Experience with contracts and contract-related legal matters.

• Knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, and court filings.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial litigation and contract disputes.

• Complex civil litigation and trial preparation.

• Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm environment.

Please Note: This position requires relevant litigation experience. Candidates whose experience is primarily in family law will not be considered.
