Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join its growing finance team. This role is responsible for managing billing, collections, account maintenance, and customer communication while ensuring timely and accurate billing processes. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly billing and follow up on outstanding account balances
• Maintain customer account information, including account status changes and billing records
• Monitor aging reports and proactively resolve outstanding balances
• Post payments, charges, and account adjustments accurately
• Complete daily cash deposits and maintain cash balance records
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accounts are billed correctly
• Prepare month-end reports and support financial reconciliation activities
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or collections experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Positive attitude with the flexibility to adapt in a growing, evolving organization
