Sr. Accountant

Staff / Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000+ DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Fridays off or half days depending on workload

Position Overview

We are seeking a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Accounting Manager (title dependent on experience) to join a growing and collaborative team environment. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, and general ledger functions while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and eager to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with and/or lead month-end close processes

  • Perform bank and account reconciliations

  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

  • Handle general bookkeeping and accounting functions

  • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules

  • Assist with financial reporting and ad hoc accounting projects

  • Collaborate with leadership and team members on process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • 1+ years of accounting experience preferred (open to varying levels of experience)

  • Experience with month-end close and bank reconciliations

  • Strong understanding of GAAP

  • General bookkeeping/accounting knowledge

  • QuickBooks experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • CPA track or interest in pursuing CPA is a plus, but not required
