Pay: $44–$50/hr

Overview

A manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Consultant to step in following an ERP implementation and help stabilize financial processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, this person will drive process improvement, build reporting, and identify gaps across accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and clean up existing accounting processes and develop standard operating procedures
• Support month-end close including reconciliations and financial analysis
• Develop and improve financial reporting and SQL-based reports
• Partner with the CFO to identify process gaps and weaknesses across accounting functions
• Work cross-functionally with IT and finance teams to drive process improvements

Requirements

• Strong process improvement background with experience documenting and developing SOPs
• Proven systems, reporting, and financial analysis experience
• Strong ERP skills and ability to navigate and improve ERP-driven workflows
• Proficiency in Excel
• Highly independent and able to operate with minimal direction
