Staff Accountant
A publicly traded oil and gas services company located in North Oklahoma City is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will provide broad exposure to corporate accounting functions and support multiple business entities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to expand their experience within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post general ledger journal entries.
- Generate weekly billing for multiple entities.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly customer invoices.
- Reconcile general ledger and subledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with the maintenance and tracking of fixed asset records and subledgers.
- Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with accounting personnel across related entities regarding intercompany receivables and payables.
- Partner with operational teams to address invoicing questions and support business needs.
- Assist with month-end close activities and various ad hoc accounting projects.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred; candidates with 2-3 years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus, but not required.

Compensation/Benefits:
$55-$70K + bonus
