Connect Search is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of personal injury defense experience for a full-time position located in the Farmers Branch/Dallas, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to work on sophisticated litigation matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Handle all aspects of personal injury defense litigation from inception through resolution  

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents  

• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances  

• Manage case files independently while collaborating with partners and support staff  

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts  

• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability and damages exposure  

• Participate in trial preparation and trial work as needed  

Qualifications 

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school  

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar  

• 3–5 years of experience in personal injury defense litigation  

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills  

• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice  

• Excellent organizational and communication skills  

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and caseloads effectively  

• Trial experience is a plus  

Compensation & Benefits 

• Salary commensurate with experience within the range of $135,000 – $165,000  

• Quarterly earned bonuses based on billable hours
