Connect Search is seeking a Senior AP Specialist to join a growing healthcare organization located in Houston, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Controller, take meaningful ownership within AP, and expand your accounting experience as the company continues to grow.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and purchase order creation in NetSuite.
• Review transactions carefully, investigate discrepancies, and resolve unusual or questionable billing items.
• Support journal entries and month-end close activities as part of the broader accounting function.
• Work independently while helping improve processes and maintain accurate, reliable accounting records.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong accounts payable experience with a demonstrated ability to manage details accurately and efficiently.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, including creating purchase orders; NetSuite experience is required.
• Experience with journal entries and month-end close activities.
• An analytical, curious approach to accounting with the confidence to investigate discrepancies and take ownership rather than simply process transactions.
