Purchasing Analyst

Location: Brown Deer, WI 
Compensation: $28 – $33/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Overview

A manufacturing organization is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to support a growing supply chain team facing increased workload. In this role you will manage purchasing activities, resolve inventory discrepancies, and act on ERP exception messages to prevent material shortages before they impact production.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret bills of materials and process purchase orders through the ERP system
• Monitor and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and material shortage
• Communicate with suppliers, logistics, production, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Reconcile inventory variances and investigate root causes of system discrepancies
• Proactively identify and communicate potential supply interruptions and follow through to resolution

Requirements

• Previous purchasing, buying, or supply chain experience required
• Strong systems aptitude and comfort navigating ERP and order management platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and follow-through skills
