Connect Search is partnering with an established company in Midland, TX, seeking an organized, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support its sales and operations teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, coordinating orders, managing details, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
No oilfield experience required! We’re looking for someone with strong Excel skills, excellent follow-through, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotes and follow up on open opportunities.
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and deliveries.
• Process purchase orders and sales orders accurately.
• Maintain Excel trackers for quotes, orders, and inventory.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment and billing.
• Maintain organized records and resolve order-related issues.
• Provide responsive, professional customer and vendor support.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, lookups, and multi-tab workbooks.
• Excellent computer skills, data entry accuracy, and ability to learn new systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and receptive to feedback.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn industry-specific products and processes.
• Ability to work on-site in Midland, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in inside sales, purchasing, customer service, or order management.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, sales orders, and quoting processes.
• Experience with Sage 100 or similar ERP software.
• Background in oilfield services, OCTG, industrial supply, or distribution.

Industry experience is a plus, not a requirement!
Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually
• Employment: Full-Time, Salaried
• Location: Midland, TX (On-Site)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
• Additional Availability: Occasional after-hours work and rotating weekend on-call responsibilities
