I am looking to hire a full-time Senior Accountant for reputable construction company here in Whitewater, WI (53190). This role will be permanent with benefits and is looking to interview/start immediately.

Pay: $85,000 – $95,000 (based on experience) & Benefits
Bonus: 7%

Schedule: 1^st shift, M-F
Remote: Onsite to start, once candidate is fully trained it will be 3-4 days a week

Job Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist in the development and management of the company's annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, cost control, and profitability assessments. Identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Maintain the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Tax Compliance
• Assist in the coordination of financial audits by external auditors.
• Manage and optimize financial systems and accounting software, ensuring data accuracy
• Must Have- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business
