Rapidly expanding private investment office is looking for an Investment Accountant to add to their growing team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will be deeply involved in the accounting and financial reporting of the organization's private equity, growth equity, and venture capital investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting 

• Record journal entries for capital calls, distributions, and valuations

• Process and reconcile capital calls and distribution notices

• Prepare financial statements and assist with disclosures

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes

• Contribute to valuation reviews and investor reporting

• Coordinate investment partnership tax documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

• 1-2 years in public accounting or financial services (Big 4 a plus)

• Strong understanding of general ledger and financial reporting

• Experience with private equity or fund accounting software such as Allvue is preferred
